Being so new to this technology, and just researching as much as 
possible before committing time and dollars into a specific 
printer/software for B&W printing, I am not sure if it is the "dongle".

In my researh, noticed on a web site (now unable to locate) that 
mentioned a device that looked like a media card (flash stick) that 
connected via USB port.  This item cost about $450?  Not sure if it 
was a "dongle"?  What does the "dongle" do?
