Thanks Helen and Paul for your information/opinions. Helen in terms of visuals what effect does the isolation coat give? Also, if you generalize, does printing on some matt papers then coating glossy give a more dynamic result that printing on glossy and coating with glossy? It appears that way to me, based on profiles I have made that show some of the best gammuts I have seen even with dye-based inks (I am doing most of this fiddling on a 9600 with UC) Dave
