Digital BW, The Print

After I cleaned out my 7600, it would not accept the PK cart. I got a "wrong
ink" error message.  So, I just put back in the MK cart and all is fine.

 

However, I'd previously put in a PK cart with MK ink in it to fool the
printer into showing all the media types.  I did not go through the Epson
ink switching procedure because the ink in the carts is the same - Eboni.
So, I must have done something that got around an Epson safeguard.  Maybe I
switched from MK to PK with the printer off.

 

Any ideas on a way to switch ink and avoid the error message would be most
appreciated.
