Digital BW, The Print

(Those are the older UT7 carts.  I'm not sure who would have filled them --
probably the old contractor.)

I sometimes have what your photos show happen on my systems also.  I think
it is air or foam in the line.  Usually it happens to me sometime after I've
done something with the inks in one of my large format printers.  

New carts should have had a good enough vacuum in them that there should not
be foam.  So, this loading job may have not had a very good vacuum. 

Let them sit for a day and see if the ink will pool enough around the outlet
to avoid foam getting to the head.  That would be my advice.  I suspect
cleaning will pull the ink too fast, but I could be wrong there -- or on all
of this.
