Clayton, I'm pretty sure I saw this same behavior when BO printing also. I just framed a print on Entrada Natural tonight, I've had much better luck with Entrada than Kayenta. Entrada can flake sometimes, but it appears to be no worse that VFA or any other high end matte paper I've tried. I think that Moab has consistency problems if we are seeing completely opposite behaviors like this. I've gone through 2 boxes of Entrada 8x10 and have one other box of 13x19, so I've seen enough of the Entrada line for me to have an idea of how it performs. In my first year of printing I've tried so many types of paper I have a fairly large supply that I'm waiting to get rid of before trying something else. So far though my favorite matte paper is just VFA. I'm looking forward to trying Ultrasmooth/Premiere Art Hot press. I'm currently using it for a scrapbook project for my church and now have over 60 small prints with it. I just examined some of them, both high and low key with lots of black, and can't see anything like this. But I'm using Eboni BO, so maybe it's ok with that. I'll try a UT7 print and see what happens. Maybe you got a bad batch - they do have a place on their web site to report batch numbers if there's a problem.
