The UC inks had awful bronzing on "photo" papers. The dMax is likely up a bit but anything over 2.2ish is practically indistinguishable. Personally if I had a 4000 I would be out buying some 4800 ink cartridges and swapping the chips. The Firmware may prevent access to the LLK but QTR will drive the better K, LK, LM, and LC (and (Y). Very much worth a try. Profiling for colour would be easy too.
