Exactly what I'll be trying with my 4000, but I'm hoping that MIS will eventually have k3 clone inks in bulk. The biggest obstacle is the 4000 firmware that does not allow 3rd party RIPs access to both K slots at the same time for printing with the 3rd gray ink. Is it possible to hack the firmware to get rid of this obstacle? Carl On Jun 4, 2005, at 7:55 AM, Steve Kale wrote: > The UC inks had awful bronzing on "photo" papers.
