Re: [Digital BW] Problem with UT7 Ink cartridge for LM POS

Hello Steve,

I think this is one of those cases where the condition seems amplified
because only the bad is mentioned. If every MIS ink user posted a
message for every good MIS experience the forum would be clogged
beyond use.

I've used MIS inks for almost 4 years now any my experience has been
99.9% good. The few problems have been resolved promptly and
courteously without question. I call them up and what I need appears
in my mailbox a few days later. I've learned to keep a little bit
extra in stock in case the odd bad chip or cart shows up. I don't
wait until I'm out of something before ordering. That's just smart
business.

It's probably correct to say that most of what MIS sells is made by
someone else. They can't possibly test every cart before selling it.
I know someone who is in the manufacturing business in a highly
competitive industry, and in spite of their best quality control
efforts, there is a certain small percentage of failures that slip
through. That is simply reality.

I think MIS is doing a remarkably fine job given current global
economic and market realities. They can never rest because new
printers and inks appear regularly. They are dependent on someone
else to make what they sell, and their options for different suppliers
are probably extremely limited. I personally am thankful for their
effort and perseverance in a difficult business. Their inks and their
top-fill carts are what make it possible for me to do what I do.

Regards,
Clayton
