However it has huge drops of ink compared with the newer printers. So I wouldn't run anything less than a real quad-tone -- you really do need all those very light grays. Likewise you can't use strong toner inks because they'll show too. If you mean ultrachrome for your lc, lm & y they are too strong in color. If you want to go with piezotone inks I'd go with one full quad inkset and then have a partial second set (2 inks) where you can get a mild tone variation. I don't know if there's going to be any support for the 6 ink printers with Cone's new inks, but I think the older printers (*000 and *500) would benefit much more with more grays than the newer printers (*600 and *800).
