Hi Walter,

C86 will not do a good job with black only. The trick is to get the  
EZ ink from MIS, either warm or neutral or both, and use them instead  
of the color ink.
As for setting, well I don't do much adjusting at all with this set  
up, only minor tweaking with brightness and contrast in the printer  
drive....
