I imagine the 15 meter limit is pretty arbitrary but that's what the Epson document
says.   Some of the older limits were caused by only having 16 bits for the
page length but the newer printers all have 32 bits for page length.  That would
give absurdly long prints so they probably just picked 15 meters.

Yes, you can save the huge TIFF from PS and read into Preview (Mac's generic viewer).
I didn't actually print but the Print command was enabled.

Temp files could get humongous and might bring most machines to their knees.
So although 49 feet is theoretically possible it might not be practical.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
