I've just rolled some Golden GAC 500 onto two test sheets of Innova paper, Cold Press Art and FibaPrint. On both I have some splotchy white areas where the ink has disappeared in and around the edges. I printed these earlier this afternoon (8 or 9 hrs ago) and I assume the problem is due to limited drying time. I had meant to spray these with Lascaux Fix fist and forgot. BTW, I have applied GAC 500 to a few other papers without problem. Does my theory sound plausible? Anyone have any experience with this combination (Innova papers and Golden products)? BTW#2, I'm hoping that FibaPrint's really hard, smooth surface provides a very smooth surface after liquid laminating. Moab Entrada, conversely, has a small amount of surface texture that can be distracting with some print material. I expect the Innova Smooth Cotton to be the same. I'm also trying the same test with Innova Cold Press Art to see how the texture comes across. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks! Terry.
