I do do it outside and with a charcoal filtered mask and goggles. If you change the filters often and you do not smell even a trace of the solvent, then no it is not delusional to use this method. However, if you are doing this stuff day in and day out with large volumes, you should either construct a special spray room with exhauset fans air imput, etc. At that point I would farm the work out to a company that specializes in such work.
