You know, I think this has probably been covered somewhere in the group but I've searched using a variety of terms and haven't found the thread yet... So, just getting in to the printing end of the process. I have a 1280 and just bought a set of MIS inks. All I've ever done with the printer priior to this is simply run epson or generic cartridges until they are empty and then replace them. I'd like to put the MIS inks in, make some prints and then put the standard cartridges BACK in again. So, when taking a non-empty cartridge out of the printer do I tape over the vent and ink holes, removing the tape when I reinsert or something else? I'd like to be able to switch to MIS inks, doa few prints and then swith back for "regular family use". Thanks, Milt
