I'm going to look in multiple spots for a solution but clues will be much appreciated. Got the Photoshop 6 upgrade last night, installed. fine. This morning out of curiosity I switched screen settings Control/display prop./settings/color - from High color 16 to true color 32. Shut down and restarted. When I restarted I was unable to start PS 6 or PS 5. Unable to log on directly to www.adobe.com but can come in through the backdoor. Also couldn't access Photoshop Elements or Canon Zoom browser. I can access _Photoshop 4_ (and printed) MSword and obviously visit other websites directly. Exact error message... Red circled X followed by "Unable to continue because of hardware or system error. Sorry but this error is unrecoverable" with a Quit button. System is Win98se, Pentium3 Display is a Dell P991 on 32MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS (not that that means something to me). Will be looking for solutions?!? TIA, Cleavis in AZ
