Hello Scott, >However, call me a "simpleton", but I love the way it printed BO >prints. I'm sold on BO printing. I doubt you're a simpleton, and there's certainly no need to be apologetic for liking BO. Some people like vanilla, some like strawberry and some like chocolate. In the "Dark Ages" some went for the AA look and some liked 35mm Tri-X in Rodinol. No reason for it to be different now. Here's a quote from an email I received recently from someone who got several of my prints: "Sitting here looking at b&w prints made using piezogaphy, ut7/qtr, and eboni bo, your bo prints really stand out in their clarity and openness. I really like them." There are lots of BO lovers out there and I regularly receive emails with similar testimonies, so you're in good company. There is also a good possibility that the color problem will be solved and the 2BO technique (2 blacks only) will give us the best of both worlds: all of BO's positive attributes without the graininess, giving us yet another option.
