The point was not that .TIF and .RAW are the same, it's that some camera
companies gave the RAW files a .TIF extension. My Canon 1Ds saves RAW files
as .TIF even though they are not really TIFF files.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
