-Carbro certainly isn't "implied." Nothing is implied. On this very Yahoo site there was a recent longwinded bs session about "what should we call these prints" (as if it mattered in pseudo-ansel calendar photos). One conclusion was that "we" should call them "carbon prints." I don't think anybody here knows what Brandt would have wanted, or what would have caused him to "turn over in his grave." Certainly many of his own prints were mediocre (as were Ansel's at one time)...this was back when a photographer's vision was more important than obsession with desitometry or pursuit of hobbiest techniques, such as carbro.
