So, now that the side trips and hypotheses are out of the way... Has anybody actually seen these prints, or do they intend to? Has anybody seen large BW inkjet prints of the work of ANY historically important photographer (eg Brandt?). Has any of Penn's work, or Avedon's , been printed via inkjet? Many of Ansel's images could look better, more to his vision, printed digitally than they on silver, imo, though I don't know if that'd be the case with Weston's. Opinions? Anybody have opinions? I expect to see the Brandt exhibition this Saturday. Anybody else? Clayton, thanks for pressing your point... you deserve credit for your contribution to digital photography. John Kelly
