Robert, There are a number of ways you could approach making a digital book. In the past, I have used Lumijet dual-sided matte and Hahnemuhle Photo Rag duo to print my books. Both of these paper have certain defects for bookmaking, i.e. scuffing, scratching, & burnishing. I have recently been testing the Innova ³book art² papers, which will be hitting the US in the middle of the August. They will be releasing a double-sided soft texture and smooth cotton labeled as ³book art² paper because the grain direction will be labeled. I then hand bind the books through traditional means into a case-binding ³hardcover². There are many places that are offering workshops in book arts including the binding process. If you tell me what region of the country you are in I can pass a few locations onto you, I personally offer workshops as well. There are also many great books on case-binding available. -- Eric Kunsman www.infraredman.com www.booksmartstudio.com [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
