You may want to look at Moab's Entrada double sided
paper. They actually sell it in conjunction with a
leatherette binder which I have used very
successfully.

Last year I put together a small book of my street
photographs.

The size is 4.75 x 7.75 - I made it that size so it
would slip into my back pocket. I carry it
around when I shoot on the street so when people ask
me what I'm doing, I can just show
em the book. It's a great ice-breaker for
conversation.

I printed on Pictorico Dual Side paper using a Canon
S9000 printer. Kind of a semi-gloss
finish and 10 mils thick.

Here's an online photo presentation of the book in
flash format - check it out. Looks nicer
in real life - I suck at product photography.

I now have a 4800 printer, but since then I've been
printing my books through Apple's
iPhoto book software. Much easier, cheaper, and less
time consuming. Makes it less
painful for changing pix. I've done a half-dozen or so
now and am pretty pleased - they're
20-40 pages and perfect bound.

Hope this helps...
