Hi Andrew, I've only used the Eboni in place of Epson MK. Hadn't ever considered using the MIS LK version. Not sure it would be helpful. But interesting question. I like the results of the Eboni vs Epson MK as the Eboni is more "neutral" - cooler than the Epson MK. I've found the Epson MK too warm for my taste, especially with BO printing. I haven't done the testing with the Eboni on the 4000 like I had done when I had a 2200. I can say without reservation, that I definitely preferred the Eboni ink for ALL my B&W printing on the 2200, both BO and full ink set (using Gray Balancer). But that was all PRE-QTR.
