When you save your file in PS is it tagged? Don't assume it is, look at the options in the dialogue box when saving. If IP get's an untagged file, will it default to some RGB space you didn't intend? PS treats all untagged files as existing in the working space. Just an idea, no IP experience here. But it's color managed, so could be relevant.
