RE: [Digital BW] Filling MIS carts -- sponge only partly soaked?

2005-08-04 by Paul Roark

Jordan,

Did you remove the vent hole tape on the top over the sponge?

I tried the new MIS filling instructions on a new cart yesterday also. I
found that I had to remove the tape to get the sponge to fill. I did this
before priming. After filling the reservoir with the vent tape off, I
primed the cart while I held my finger over the vent hole so that the ink
would pull from the reservoir and not the sponge.
