After having every printer imaginable to do Quads/hex/whatever, I used UT-7 on a 2200 which I no longer have. I find that the 2880 BO prints on a 4000 are amazing....when I want a warm look. I really like the Semi Matte Epson paper with a light coat of Satin Lacquer....not quite air-dried FB look, but darn nice with great highlights, Dmax, and scale. I still have UT-1 on a 7500 and looking forward the new inksets in the near future. QTR or IJC/OPM perhaps?? I think the 4000 has the very fine screening for BO, more so thatn the 2200 did. BTW, Dmax is overrated as a singular component. You can get a high Dmax from Pictorico fine art "matte" paper, but it appears to have a sticky coating over it. Best Dmax ever (2 point something) but the prints look like crap. Claude [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
