Hello to all forum members. My name is Khaled Aboumrad, I'm a photographer, I'm Mexican, I live in Paris and I work in black and white. I worked as a fashion and comercial photographer for many years until I got bored of it and decided to dedicate myself completely to my personal work. I've been printing traditionally since I started in 93 and latelely I've tried different digital approaches with a few labs around Paris, the problem is that it is too expensive and I can't have as much control as I'd like. I'm in the process of editing a new portfolio so I'm looking for a way to print it with the highest quality possible while not going broke at the same time. I decided to do it myself for this reasons so I've been doing some trials with my printer (R800) with no results, later I found Clayton's and Paul's websites (which I found very enlightening I must say) and this forum and looked at all the posts regarding this printer and it's fake BO etc. so my questions are: 1.- Is it possible to print BO using QTR with this printer? 2.- Is eboni ink compatible? Or will it clog the print heads? 3.- Would it be better to wait for the Piezo K7 inks? (Not good since I'm in a hurry to start printing) 4.- Can you suggest other solutions without changing printers? What I'm looking for is to be able to print with carbon only inks in matte paper, as close to neutral as possible (a little warm is ok), deep deep blacks and strong fade resistance. I appreciate any help or suggestion that you may bring and I'm looking forward to contribute to the forum in any way I can. Thank you. Khaled
