Re: Intro and question - R800 - BO - K7 - Other?

Thank you for your answers, it's funny how true is this saying that
the more you know, the
more you realize that you don't know...

I'm sure that what does the difference must be your custom icc
profile since my tests have
all been done with standard profiles and I can see (subtly) casts in
middle to light grays.

Thanks Paul, I'll write to MIS to ask them.

This would probably be the easiest solution but I suffer from a bad
case of GAS (Gear
Acquisition Syndrome) and I'm in a phase of recovery trying to only
use the stuff that I
already own :) Seriously though, I've been a newbie at lots of
things and after a few
expensive mistakes, I've learned to ask questions to the people that
know before I get my
feet wet. (Right now one of those mistakes seems to be the R800! So
much for
experience!) I'll probably invest in a larger printer in the future
but right now I need to
learn with what I've got.

Thanks Clayton please do share the curve, I guess the one you're
doing will be for your
2200 and I'll have to modify it for the R800, is this correct?

I'm all for graininess so I think that BO is what better suits what
I'm looking for. The only
thing that worries me is that Eboni is normally used in printers with
4 or more picoliter
droplets and the R800's are 1.5 picoliters, I don't know if this can
clog the print heads, I
don't even know if I should worry about this. On the other hand, the
small size could help
to reduce this graininess that some people don't like about BO, what
do you think?

Thanks again for your anwers.
