Digital BW, The Print

I am considering purchasing an epson C86 for use with MIS Associates 
EZ black and white inks.  I have been discouraged after reading about 
black dots and ink spill over in this forum.  I can deal with contrast 
or density adjustments but dots and ink marks would be too much.  Can 
anybody comment on the use of the epson c86 with black and white inks.
