I've not had any ink spill, but I am one of two or three people 
persistently having the black dots. You really have to go looking for 
them - I suspect some people who say they don't get them probably have, 
and just haven't noticed. I have not yet exhausted all the 
troubleshooting steps that I've worked out, so there may yet be a fix in 
the offing.

IMO even if there is not an end-user solution to the black dot problem, 
the convenience and cost advantages of MIS EZ make the system 
worthwhile. I've been using settings based on Paul Roark's; he's already 
given you the url. I'm using EZN; this makes beautiful, rich-looking B&W 
prints. Much nicer than anything I ever managed to make with my 2200.
