That might, John, be a byproduct of the 
moderators' warding off spam by "moderating" the 
posts of new subscribers in hopes of filtering 
out those who subscribe just to post an 
advertisement. But I guess the moderators might 
also be reviewing whatever Yahoo filters out and 
rescuing with some delay some of the valid posts 
Yahoo mistook for spam.
