Hello Adam, >I seem to be one of the lucky ones for whom BO works on the C86. That's good news. I'm wondering of some of the other ones might not benefit from a head alignment. >Surpisingly, I've had the best results so far with Kayenta and the >Epson ink. It's noticably cooler than the warm EEM/Epson ink >combination, although the EEM is quite nice when it's not >sitting next to the Kayenta. Anyone else tried this combination? Yes, it's one of my favorites. Kayenta renders the pure carbon inks much cooler than most other papers. If you want a real thrill, put some Eboni in it and see what happens. There is a chart on my web site that shows the ink color, paper color and dmax for 24 papers, using Eboni BO. Kayenta ranks the coldest. It's article #5, "The Great Paper Chase".
