MIS published a procedure for switching inksets on the 4000, but I don't know if it is applicable for UC to k7. Should be OK if the UC/ k7 inks are compatible. You could also just do purge prints until the lines/dampers have been flushed. Does anyone know what the volume of ink is in the lines and dampers of the 4000? http://www.inksupply.com/4000inkchange.cfm On Aug 28, 2005, at 9:27 AM, susanfleck46227 wrote: > I have a 1280 with a CIS that I've been using for WN PiezoTones and > the > images are very nice but the machine is slow and I'm tired of > dealing with the > CIS. > > I also have a 4000 and I'd like to switch to the K7 inkset on it. > It sounds like, > though, that there are no curves available for the 4000.
