Digital BW, The Print

I have been printing the same image with my Epsonn 2200 and now my 4000
using enhanced matte and the epson profiles. This image has a very
large solid black area and with the Quadtone Rip I am getting very
faint horizontal bars in the black area. I have done several test and
it is for sure the QT Rip that can't seem to lay down a solid black
area. What can I do to correct this, I realy like using the QT Rip over
the Epson Profile? Thanks, Matthew
