I have some k7 inks on the way and will report next week. However, I'm not using the full k7 set in my 4000. I followed Jenny Ellerbe's lead and I'm going with a dual quad setup in my 4000. I'll be using the k7 matte K with the piezo carbon sepia grays (3 inks) for a warm quad and with three of the k7 grays (inks 3, 5, and 7) for a neutral quad on the other side. I'd rather have the flexibility of using two quads with consistent colors that I like (plus the options of split toning and blending when I want them) versus using just the k7 neutral setup for perhaps marginal improvement of tonal smoothness in some prints.
