Currently, the Pulse is not as widely supported, some of this can be 
overcome with the free utility from Xrite called Colorport. The 
wireless measurement would be extremely handy sometimes but with 
wireless USB adapters coming into view, this may not be an issue in 
the future (except for the battery).

The only device that I can confirm really makes 31 measurements is 
the old Xrite DTP22, I've taken one apart, and it had 31 dichroic 
(sp?) filters on a spinning wheel. I have not ever touched a Pulse 
(DTP20), and have not taken my i1 apart yet.
