I agree with Steve. Now that I've been on the list a while, I find even relatively long lists of new-to-me posts easy to deal with quickly, and only partly because, while at first I was curious about everything but am now more focused. One thing I learned when I was at least skimming each post, is that what's on the subject line becomes misleading as the thread drifts, or is "hijacked", as it grows.
