Largely depends on the size of the gallery and how many you can hang at once. Sears, Home Depot, etc should have several models to choose from. They usually have a distance rating. Many models adhere to the wall. I would recommend the one with the most options within your budget. There is always one more thing on the next installation. If using a typical home builders unit, plan ahead to get around corners, dividers, etc. A piece of drafting tape with a reference mark will allow you to move around and keep a consistent height. Use several for accuracy over distances. They make tripod mounted levels for use on large construction projects. (think stadiums) where you can level everything to one point. You'll probably want to rent one if it needs to be that precise.
