Paul,

Thanks very much for sharing your evaluation and expectations of the 
new base inks, and I'll look forward to hearing about your findings 
as you're able to work with the balance of the UT dilutions. I'll 
still got quite a bit of UT2 "old stock", but I must admit I'm very 
tempted to place an order for a set of inks with the new base ;>)

I hope your 7600 comes back to life without having to resort to 
a "service call", because as you probably know, unless you personally 
know a good tech their prices are quite astronomical and inversely 
proportionate to their ability to effectively repair these machines.

My experience is more with the 7000 and 9000 machines (my 9600 has 
been running without a hitch for a couple of years now, knock wood); 
however, if there's any way I can help please let me know...
