I'm fairly new to this list and I am still trying to catch up on the hundreds of messages I have accumulated before I chimed in,but with only a hundred to go, I figure it is time to stop lurking and start replying. Back on topic: I gave up on Lyson SG inks. Metamerism is woeful. It is great for toning as long as the print sees only one light source. Also, if displayed unprotected (at least on EAM paper) it fades horribly. I tried the Lyson Quads, too. I couldn't take the purple\magenta look of the print in tungsten light. I shifted to MIS FS inks because of the reported warm tone, longevity, and supposed lack of metamerism. Although, it does look a bit olive green in tungsten light (which does warm over time) and warmish next to window lighting. It seems to me that the VM inks would be perfect for what you want to do, unless you like to print on glossy stock. I am not sure how the metamerism is with this ink set, but I am sure others on this list will know. Thom
