Picture the scene my merrie men as, on a bright and sunny Saturday morning, you walk casually towards your friendly local Inkjet supply company. As you saunter towards your objective you pass a building society, wherein you observe several fellow photographers applying for a second mortgage, something that has become necessary since they purchased a new Epson 2400. You however have no such needs, and quickly reach your intended objective, you hand over a shiny new tenner with the remark "a single black pigment cartridge my good man, and be quick about it because I have fine art B&W work to do and time is money to me squire". The assistant does his job and you leave. He will later swear that you seemed to have a golden haze body contour as you left the shop and for sure you are a much nicer person now that you have eschewed the "old ways" for the new, or should that be "the old ways" for "much older ways"? I really don't know myself.
