Linearity most certainly changes with different papers, and different inks. As I said before, the greatest value will be for people that do not use Epson inks or Epson papers. If you want different linearity for different papers, just save the file, and load it when you switch to that paper. Look under the remote measuring portion of the help file. HP does the same thing with the DJ130, it saves the LUT as an XML file that you can upload to the printer when you are using that paper.
