It's easy to say you can just put in the old portfolio black into the K7 set 
as the main black, but what about the people who can't afford large format 
machines. There was never a portfolio black made for the 2100/2200 type ink 
cartridge. I work in a giclee lab which is the only place I have access to a 
professional set up ( large format printers that take the big cartridges and 
studio print, portfolio black, etc).   There are obviously people with all 
sorts of different incomes here. PLUS I'm sure the majority of Piezography 
users would still want a portfolio black made in the NEW formulation as the 
K7 anyway ("viscosity" or whatever).
