This is possible, I've done it. There is only one potential problem - the Epson 2400 chips (which ARE resettable), do not fit perfectly in the MIS carts. It seems that the hollow space under the chip is not deep enough for the little lump of plastic on the underside of the chip. The result is that it doesn't seat firmly and wobbles around a bit. However, the little blob of sticky stuff does prevent it from falling off and it worked fine when I put it in the printer.
