I've wondered if the poor-fit problem is the cause of the delay. Perhaps the 2400 chip circuitry requires a bigger bump on the bottom and the cart's chip well simply isn't deep enough. If that's the case, then it will require a redesign of the chip or the cart. Someone said that We-Ink also doesn't have a chip yet. Just speculation, but there has to be a reason for the delay...
