Its probably just too much glop-top on the chip for the MIS carts. Either the engineer neglected to put a height limit on the drawing, or the mfg. made an error. It would be very surprising to me if Epson decreased the amount of chips per wafer by making them bigger. Who knows, we will have to be patient a little longer. If that's the case, then it will require a redesign of the chip or the cart. Someone said that We-Ink also doesn't have a chip yet. Just speculation, but there has to be a reason for the delay...
