Mike, If you want, send me your address off-line, and I'll be glad to send you a small B&W print from my Epson 4800 - it's in the same family as the 7800 and uses the same inks. Paul made an excellent point about having a little more margin with the 7800 as well as having room to grow. As it uses the same inks as the 4800, you'll get equally impressive results - right out of the box.
