I hate to be the cynic around here but... Does it strike any one else as, um, curious that Clayton was awarded these honors by a company that makes photographic ink jet paper and Clayton enjoys the reputation where his word is gold as far as which papers the rest of us should buy and use? Now, I haven't seen his image and perhaps it is truly wonderful and given his reputation, it probably is. I would hope that Hawk Mountain truly did pick their winners in a completely blind way -- and they probably did. Still, in these increasing sad days where it is gets harder and harder to know who to trust, I just find this worthy of comment. Okay, I've ducked and covered and am awaiting the flames that this message will probably invoke... ;) Dave. -- David Keenan, ausdlk@... on 10/18/2005
