Digital BW, The Print

I have just recieved my i1.  Before my purchase, I phoned GTM to quickly confirm that all of 
the i1 models (not the display) have the same spectrophotometer unit.  The differences 
between each model is software only.  I thought some of you on the fence might be 
interested to know that the EyeOne Design is $895 rather than $1495 for the EyeOne Photo.  
The additional $500 dollars buys you software used to create RGB or CMYK color profiles.  
Therefore, if you want to use an i1 ONLY for QTR, StudioPrint, or as a fancy densitometer, 
you can save some money.  Note that you can always purchase the addition software at a 
later date.
