Mark I agree with you that there are some remote connect systems which are less than desirable. I initially explored several, including MSN and Windows Remote Assistance but found far too many difficulties for them to satisfy my needs for a simple secure system. I had some early system crash experiences that were totally unacceptable. I now use a commercially hosted system which operates thru secure servers with 128bit encryption. At the end of the session the link is terminated and there is no access to either party. The unique way in which the connection is established overcomes most of the difficulties that are frequently encountered with firewalls blocking access....it really is about as simple as it can be! Its use has revolutionised my client assistance work. If anyone wants to know more please contact me.
