If the other suggestions don't help, you might try what I was told to do by the Epson tech. I was haveing a problem with a different file that you are, but it may well be the same fix. The faq explaines how to do it; here's the link. I had been pulling my hair out for several hours and it took the tech a hour to get to this point. Ultimately, the fix was so simple. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=FAQ&oid=54861&prodoid=53540920&foid=61082 I'm not sure if Yahoo will like such a long url, so if it doesn't work go to the Epson.com support page, find the page for the R2400, select "Top Faqs For This Product" and click on faq #9. When I do this, I get a message: "Files > Needed The file epppdtmn.sys on Epson 1394.3 printer Install Disk One > is needed." When I browse for that file, it is not in the folder.
